This public sculpture with a winding structure is installed on a pool at the center of a circular plaza. It is an important landmark, Hope to make people feel the wonder between life and the universe.

The work collides the primitive nature of nature with the possibility of human interference, creates a scene space with the theme of ecology, and applies the tree modeling elements in the literati paintings of the Song Dynasty to sculpture. When people stare at these works, they will think about where human beings have gone and the relationship between nature and human beings.
Continue readingTo interpret the image of endless succession, the Xinxian Waterfall is the theme and is combined with the diversified ecological species in Neidong, including the Grey-chinned Minivet, Formosana Begonia, Elatostema platyphylloides, Giant Elephant's Ear, Wulai Azalea, and emerald tree frogs, among other flora and fauna. The Atayal totems are also interwoven to symbolize the coexistence between the Atayal people and the life nurtured by the local forest.

Relive this joy with Hikoko's Happy Birthday Likeboxes, an art installation showcasing 366 illuminated mailboxes, each representing a day of the year. Their appearance, reminiscent of social media posts invites visitors to reflect on the often-impersonal nature of social media interactions and to create and share hand-drawn birthday cards with personal, heartfelt wishes. The installation enables the exchange of warm messages and personal creativity, spreading positivity and connecting people one card at a time.

It was created through a creative process between digital and physical, mixing reality and virtual reality in collaboration with EPFL. It attempts to generate an experience in nature and reaffirms the supple strength of human cognitive abilities that select aesthetic experiences actively to create a better future. A sense of human existence will remain unchanged forever, even in a future where reality is in chaos.

The theme is weightlessness, which is originally a physical concept, through the clever visual transformation and multi-media integration, to create a new visual experience for the audience. The work Weightlessness is a metaphor for modern urban life, ecological environment, and people's feelings and states in real life. The designer hopes that the audience can feel a weightlessness state during the visit, reflecting on their own situation and confusion in urban life.
