Malware

Made entirely digitally using Photoshop and a graphics tablet, Malware displays the result of the dissolution of a relationship. The contrast in the painting is based on the concept of duality in nature, of the contrast between happiness and sorrow. The use of black and white, chaotic foreground and calm background, hardness and softness, all create a romantic, yet somber mood and express the melancholy one is left with following a breakup.

Top of Austria

The DC Tower 1 is Austria's highest building and provides an outstanding welcome gesture. A webcam at the roof continuously collects photos, over time creating an image-pool. These captured moments are arranged in real-time into vivid time-slice montages. It's all about cherishing every single moment. Sensors deliver position tracking, enabling people to influence the layouts. The LED wall in the foyer celebrates both: the location and every moment at it. Additionally it provides dialogue between the people and the building itself through interactivity.

Athletic

Inspired by the beauty of each sport, Hao has attempted to capture the unique rhythm of athletes' body movements through this illustration series. To get started, Hao simplified the complex athletes' body movements by using the simplest graphics and dialogue. Taking advantage of both traditional paintings and digital paintings, he recreated the texture of the paper and brush strokes. Through his unique illustration style, he brought out the dynamic and energetic, beautiful ethos of athletes and artists alike.

Garden

This work was exhibited on the outlying islands of Taiwan. The design basic tells the concept of the earth, where the endless ecology multiplies. The three-dimensional weaving presents a rich underwater ecology. The colorful weaving creates the shape of coral seaweed, which is symbolized by the rhythm of light Schools of fish are constantly migrating. The rich ecology is endless.

CityWood

CityWood is a wooden map artwork designed by an architect Hubert Roguski. It is a three dimensional design that combines modern technology with the beauty of wood and craftsmanship. Created from a city data, city streets, water and landscape are represented by separate wooden layers to create depth of the design. Each layer is precisely cut using laser technology, polished with sand paper to provide smooth clean surface and assembled by hand with great attention to the crafting process. Each map has its own personality due to the individual grain of the wood.

Porous Manifold

This is a temporary Japanese tearoom exhibited in Echigo-tsumari Art Triennale 2018 and has a nested structure with two-tatami space embedded in ten foot square. In this exhibition, architects were asked to respond to the theme of how to overcome the concept of homogeneous space that was dominant in the 20th century. The skeleton was designed using the random pattern which was called Voronoi Division to distort homogeneous space. And it was proposed that the architecture with a large number of holes what could be opened and closed as needed to communicate with the outside like a living thing.
