Interference Sculpture Art

Interference

The shape of trees symbolizes nature, and the cloth symbolizes human intervention in nature. The work collides the primitive nature of nature with the possibility of human interference, creates a scene space with the theme of ecology, and applies the tree modeling elements in the literati paintings of the Song Dynasty to sculpture. When people stare at these works, they will think about where human beings have gone and the relationship between nature and human beings.

Turtle Comes, Luck Comes is an interactive light installation shaped as a sea turtle. The sculpture is made of epoxy resin and metal and measures 720 by 1000 by 400 centimeters. Many folding and curling methods were tested to obtain gradient colours in paper. The framed piece measures 300 x 400 x 15 mm.

The Glimmer Taped Train

The Glimmer

The Glimmer is a tape art installation applied to a train in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Nearly 110 square meters of glow tape cover the outside of the train, forming murals that show the sea, the ports, the mountains and the buildings of the city. The tape absorbs sunlight during the day and emits light at night, so the train becomes a moving lantern without electrical power. The interior is decorated with luminous foils and changing lights. The installation was created for the Taiwan Lantern Festival and applies several tape art techniques.

Mystical Serpent Light Art Installation

Mystical Serpent

The main body is an inflatable form made of lightweight recyclable material, winding through the building windows and across the ground. Printed fabric on the walls and stickers on the glass form a mural with a pseudo three-dimensional effect. Eastern and Western motifs are combined in a unified color scheme. The installation links horizontal and vertical spaces and gives the old facade a new appearance.
